Steve Coogan (Around the World in 80 Days, Night at the Museum, Alan Partridge) is the voice of Roderick the Rat. Steve thinks Roderick is "a bit of a lad, a wheeler dealer....albeit a charming one...the sort of person we love despite his failings, and he comes good in the end."

Steve Coogan has won many awards for his comedy performances, most notably two BAFTA's for his Alan Partridge series.

He remembers the original television series of Tales of the Riverbank as, "one of my very first memories as I was probably only three or four at the time, so it has always stuck in my mind. My character of Roderick looks cuddly and friendly...a terrific balance between something that looks real yet has great human characteristics."
